Sure enough, the leitmotif that's earlier used during Armin's sacrifice and rebirth shines through at the end, in a somewhat "hopeful" manner. To me, this scene and OST is about a fleeting moment where Grisha takes a leap of faith and seeks to break free from the reality he's been shackled by. It definitely has ties with Armin's resolve to "see the ocean", so I think the leitmotif does connect through the contexts.
