While visiting Harajuku in Tokyo, I came across an exhibition of digital artwork by Japanese artist Mika Pikazo. The artwork at the ILY GIRL exhibition mainly consisted of manga and anime-influenced portraits of young women. The digital illustration focus on identity—on the blurred boundaries between one's real self, one's imagined self and the self that one presents to the world.
