However, touched by Otako’s unwavering love, Ofutsu tearfully leaves their home. 😢🏠 But then, the samurai suddenly relaxes and confesses, "It was all an act!" revealing that the entire scheme was a ruse to get money. 🎭💰 As if things couldn’t get worse, Kita-hachi appears in the middle of the night with his own debt problems, leaving both Yaji and Kita stranded with nowhere to go. Having lost everything—money, home, and stability—they decide to change their fortunes and embark on their journey on foot, thus beginning their hizakurige adventure. 👣🌿
